Oland Lighthouse - This photo was taken on the island of Oland in Sweden in the early hours - It has been a show favorite. It is still an active lighthouse by the town of Hogby Fyr. It is home to Artist, retired sea captain Stephan Lundh.

Ruffles is a Bald Eagle that I have been fortunate enough to photograph over the past 5 years as she has developed in to what we refer to as a Mature Bald Eagle - I never knew until 5 years ago that it takes 4-5 years for a Bald Eagle to get the Golden beak and white feathered head. My passion and respect for these magnificent creatures has grown immensely and I see why our forefathers used them as a representative of peace and freedom in this wonderful country we live in. The photos seen here are roughly 6 months to a year apart. I think I will have at least one more photo session with Ruffles.

It has been a while - How time fly's... I have to make a New Years resolution to post more.

It has been so fun and busy it is easy to forget.

Several great trips this fall. A wonderful show at the beginning of October was a great success.

I have so many fun new images to enjoy at the gallery.

There are still so many to work on and get printed.

Now just returning to the Midwest from another great adventure it is time to enjoy the Festive Holiday season and get some new printing done at the gallery.

There are several places to view my work if your are not in the Rockford Il area feel free to call and I will be happy to direct you to a gallery or location nation wide that is a supporter of my work.

We hope to be launching an all new website and brochure soon and direct links and info will be offered then.

Midwest or West we all have been blooming.

The all new Northern Leaf Imaging gallery is up and running with rave reviews. We have given the gallery a complete face lift and it is looking mighty spiffy!

Summer has been Moving fast!!

The new Photos have been flowing with plenty of new journeys to speak about. I am looking forward to our up coming Fall Show as I said in my last post we will be participating in the Fall Art Scene. We have an all new decor in the gallery and we cannot wait to have the show. The dates will be Oct 1st 5-9pm and Oct 2nd 3-9pm at the Northern Leaf Imaging Gallery 4801 Boeing Drive.

Speaking of fall - the colors will be changing soon. Cannot wait! Has to be my favorite time of year for Photos. I have a few special journeys in mind - I am hoping the weather will cooperate...

Unfortunately due to prearranged commitments, Northern Leaf Imaging will not be participating in Spring Artscene 2010.

We had to make this decision a few months ago due to our busy schedules.

However we will be participating in Fall Artscene 2010.

We have just got back... April already... we were hoping for more updates this year... But times have been to busy with the upcoming changes and Travels with Northern Leaf Imaging.

Happy New Year from all of us at Northern Leaf Imaging! It was a wonderful 2009 and we cannot wait to get started on what lies in front of the camera and studio in coming months. It has been a while since I have made an update to the website. To many good things happening in the last few months - Hopefully we can have more regular postings in the next few months. Where The Streets Have No Name - this weekend opening

Fall Show this weekend! "Where The Streets Have No Name" The Show will open on Oct 2nd at 5pm Friday till 9pm and Saturday Oct 3rd from 3pm to 9 pm at the Northern Leaf Imaging Gallery. Bradley's latest photographic works and travels will be featured along with guest artist Karen Harding displaying her latest Watercolor paintings. The Northern Leaf Imaging Gallery is located just west of the intersection of Kishwaukee Street and Airport Road at 4801 Boeing Drive in Rockford Il. Come see us and bring a friend! This is all part of the Rockford Art scene and there will be several galleries opened throughout the city of Rockford displaying wonderful works from artist through out the Rockford area - Information and maps will be available at the gallery.

I had a memorable trip to Sweden - The Vida museum - What a place - Barbro, Borge, Pernilla and Maria, Thank you! A great group of artist and friends along - the opening was just fantastic to say the least. The support and warmth we felt there was overwhelming. We had some great journeys a very memorable day trip to the Kosta Boda factory to watch the glass crystal artist Ulrica and Bertil Vallien in action at there studio. Seeing Bertil actually do 3 different pouring was a trip in itself - Thank you again Ulrica and Bertil for all your time and hospitality. Also a special thanks to everyone involved in the visit to the Borgholm Castle a great evening of visiting.

Vida Museum and Fall Shows

Hard to Believe the summer is close to coming to a end. I have some great trips in the works. One of which is the opening of the fall show at the Vida Museum in Borgholm Sweden. Myself and six other artist from different art mediums were chosen to display and visit. The Opening will be on Saturday September 5th, and will run through December 20th. www.vidamuseum.com.

I will officially announce our fall show titled "Where the Streets Have No Name" at the Northern Leaf Imaging gallery in Rockford IL. Once again we will be part of the local Art Scene program. It will run October 2nd and 3rd. We will once again have Karen Harding displaying her wonderful Watercolor Painting and Myself displaying some of my latest photographic creations.

What a great summer! - Plenty of fresh images in the can, this has been a great photo year so far.

In the meantime check out the new Northwest Quarterly Magazine (summer issue). It has a brief article on me and several pages of my images from around the country, along with one of my favorite sunflower photos on the cover taken last season.

Back on line after a busy month

I am back on line after a busy month with a couple of trips to the southwest and plenty of Spring blossoms in the midwest. I am excited to say I have some fantastic new images in the "can", that I am just beginning to work on. At this point we will not be posting many of these on the internet but they will be available for viewing at the gallery. I should have quite a few ready for my upcoming show in the fall. I always love the positive response we get in visitors, both to the website and galleries, in the end it makes me realize how great this world we live in is.

'Life isn't about how dirty we get or how we survive the storm, but how to dance in the rain.

Wow what a great show! Thanks to all who attended - I hope I was able to speak to everyone interested in speaking to me. The traffic on both nights was far more than expected and having Karen Hardings and Brian Hampton's work in house just made it so much more fun. What talented artists - Thanks again Karen & Brian!

It has been such a busy time there has been little time for updates. I have been traveling and catching up on my printing for the show. The walls are looking great. Some wonderful new images are up. I Hope to see you all at our Spring Art Scene Show at the Northern Leaf gallery. It will run 5 to 9pm on Friday April 17th and 3 to 9pm on Saturday April 18th.

Besides my latest imagery we will have two guest artist. Wildlife Photographer Brian Hampton - www.brianhamptonphotography.com will be joining us displaying in the conference room and Watercolor painter Karen Harding will be in the Library room all at the Northern Leaf Imaging gallery located in Rockford Il at 4801 Boeing Drive.

Spring is right around the bend and Northern Leaf Imaging will be kicking it off by opening the doors for Rockford's Spring Art Scene.

Our Spring show titled "Spring Fever" will feature some spectacular new imagery from Brad's latest travels. We are also thrilled to have guest artist Karen Harding who will be showing some of her new paintings.

The show will run April 17th & 18th 5 to 9 on Friday and 3 to 9 on Saturday. All this will take place at the Northern Leaf Imaging gallery at 4801 Boeing drive.

Bradley has been invited to the beautiful Vida Museum in Borgholm Sweden

We are so excited at Northern Leaf imaging to announce that Bradley has been invited to the beautiful Vida Museum in Borgholm Sweden during Skordefesten (Harvest festival). Bradley is among 10 artist working in various medias selected to exhibit. "I will be showing about 5 large pieces of work in the 6 to 8 foot wide size. The country governor, Sven Lindgren will officially open the exhibition on September 5th and it will run through December 20th, 2009".

There is so much going on lately.

When the brand new OSF Rock Cut Medical building needed large fine art photography for there walls, it was a honor that they contacted me at Northern Leaf Imaging. They recently celebrated the Grande opening of the OSF Rock Cut Medical Building at Forest Hills Road and Hwy. 173. It features my photography along with some nice images from Jeff Anderson all from the Rock Cut State Park area. There are a several large pieces to see, one that is

10 ft wide. They also had a contest among there staff members to display some small images in appropriate places in the facility, which add a pleasing accent. If your in the area stop by and take a look. This is a Brand new state of the art Medical facility that is absolutely breathtaking inside
